At 10am, I joined fellow co-workers at Alan VanErt's memorial service. His funeral was Wednesday in a different town, but the memorial service was this morning in Omaha.
His best friend of over a decade put together a special video presentation of various photos from Alan's life.
The pastor gave a powerful message, a bit over the top - but a message like Alan would have given.
Aftward the service, family and friends had brunch.
Many commented on how full of a life Alan lived. A life they only knew so little about. Very inspiring. A life to stive for.
