As if hanging out at the Omaha Film Festival and watching countless movies this past week wasn't enough, I ventured out to the slick streets of Omaha to catch "Vantage Point", (not to be confused with "Halfway Point") which is a film I've wanted to see after seeing the trailer.
The film was great, (from a screenplay stand point too) as how the story was told in pieces and you were able to put everything together at the end.
IMDB Summary: "With a Rashomon narrative style, the attempted assassination of the president is told from five different perspectives."
(Chad's note: I believe it was eight different perspectives)
The film reminded me of the 2002 TV series "Boomtown" which sadly was canceled.
IMDB Summary: "Each episode of this series, set in present day Los Angeles, examines one crime from many different viewpoints."
"Vantage Point" is worth checking out!
