Eric knocked out this script quickly, meanwhile I'm still fiddling with finding inspiration to continue writing Left Unsaid. A co-worker gave me back some comments on my book so far, maybe that will inspire me... drive me back to it... or maybe I'll do what Eric did - compile some soothing songs to play while writing. He calls it, the 'writing soundtrack'. I sort of had that with Left Standing, only it was just one song – "Epiphany" by Staind. (Yes, to your surprise it isn't a song by Jars of Clay)
So, now my mind is thinking about what songs I'd put together to create my Left Unsaid - Writing Soundtrack and if that set of songs will help inspire me to keep on writing.
One suggestion was "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts
"I would trade, give away, all the words that I saved in my heartThanks Kas
That I left unspoken"
I haven't written in forever, but I found it inspiring to listen to The Doors and Switchfoot (I know, odd combination) when I wrote...
I've actually been working on the notes and outline on and off for about a year. Once I came up with an ending, it started to come faster. Of course the music helped A LOT. It kept me going.
