A good question...

A friend on MySpace posted this question: What is your definition of love?

This was my response: (this may be an ongoing post as I continue to dwell on this question)
Love = Trust
Love = Unconditional caring for someone
Love = Accepting imperfections of another
Love = Someone you think about more than once and long to be with 'em
Love = Honesty
Love = Being better
Love = Influenced
Love = Longing
Love = Commitment
Love = Happiness
Love = A unique emotion not associated with many
Love = Deep caring
Love = Sacrifice
Love = A smile
Love = second chances
Love = Not giving up easy
Love = Compromise
Love = 24/7 hug
Love = knowing someone is always thinking of you
Love = acceptance
Love = indescribable
Love = value
Love = faith
Love = being patient

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
