As I begin the early stages of finding a mortgage loan - I am reminded of the publishing process I went through with Left Standing.
By the end of summer - I'll have a better idea of which one I'd rather go through again. Sure, buying a house you have less changes of getting rejected. But you may not get the amount you want or the house you want.
In the end you are still searching for the right home/publisher through the right loan/'payoff to self-publish' and the same amount of time to house hunt/write.
