Would the world really come to a halt?

If there was no Internet for anyone for a period of time?
Last night I came home to find my Internet not working (again). It has been going offline for about an hour between 1 and 3 times a week. It becomes very frustrating if you are working on a website or purchasing a product.

After 20 minutes on the phone with my ISP, a schedule visit appointment was set. The rest of the night I couldn’t log on, this is the longest it has ever been ‘out’.

So, I curled up to The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell and simply read ~ which reminded me of what people used to do before the Internet became a common place to kill time.

I’m eager to finish it (the book) soon!
