While browsing the books at the iUniverse.com bookstore I came across this book - The Superman Syndrome--The Magic of Myth in The Pursuit of Power: The Positive Mental Moxie of Myth for Personal Growth by Gene N. Landrum
Interesting thought. I've heard it plenty of times. The concept even shows up in Left Standing. How to abide by it? I have no idea.
