Bills seem to pile up quickly. Just as I finish all on my desk – I get more in the mail.
Between tuition, car payments, credit card bills, electricity, phone, internet, and rent (soon to be mortgage) - how is one ever able to stay ahead of the curve and have fun money (ie books, movies, eating out, cds, traveling)? I hope to have a (big) raise in October (2 years with the company) and one day really start to sell more copies of Left Standing.
My sister sent me a note from a friend of hers who is reading my book, "...loving your brother’s book. I’m either crying at the end of each chapter or in deep thought! Very clever writing."
Another guy at work is about done. He and I are going to sit down and go over his notes. He is going to write a blurb for our weekly company newsletter. He is enjoying it as well!
Last night, after the gang with to Julio’s – I hit Shopko for some jeans as my others have holes. Good to know I went down a size. I spotted a cheap tub for storing stuff and some cheap sandals as my others are about shot. <-- more bills.

I've been enjoying your site for a while now. Your blurb:
Between tuition, car payments, credit card bills, electricity, phone, internet, and rent (soon to be mortgage) - how is one ever able to stay ahead of the curve and have fun money...
You answered your own question in the first 7 words. Get rid of the car payments and get rid of the credit card debt. But first, pick up the book "Total Money Makeover."
