Saturday afternoon I went to a bookstore to trade some books (little house cleaning) and talked to the owner about doing a booksigning there - she said, "Sure whenever".
Then I went to Borders not realizing that my laptop battery was shot! So I read a few writer's magazines. Went to their search computer and printed out my book info and went to the customer service area and asked who I would talk to about getting it shelved. The person was gone, but her assistant was the person I talked to. He ordered three copies right then!
That made my day!
